Two shows at Rochester Sweeps 2024 on the horizon...

The Crows head back to Rochester Sweeps for two performances on Sunday 5th May 2024. This weekend-long event over the bank holiday weekend is well worth a visit.

The band return to the Castle Main Stage in the shadow of the famous old castle to open proceedings at this stage from 11am for a 45-minute show and then head down Boley Hill to Ye Arrow Pub & Restaurant for a debut performance from 1-3pm at this popular music venue.

For three days historic Rochester is transformed into a riot of colour and sound with the best musicians and bands on the folk circuit and hundreds of Morris dancers from across the country clattering their clogs and clashing their sticks up and down the high street. 

The Rochester Sweeps Festival is steeped in tradition, brilliantly unique, truly unforgettable and ever so quirky…and we love it. It is one of the largest gatherings of Morris sides in the world, with the streets, parks, bars and pubs of historic Rochester filled with live folk music and dance over this three-day spectacular.
