Tickets available for Christmas Charity Show

A night of music and comedy with proceeds going to Cancer Research UK

The idea for the event was mooted when Crows bassist Josh Hayward suggested the band host an evening of music in aid of Cancer Research UK referring to a family member diagnosis in 2020. Suggestions were made to stage the show in December 2025 but time was tight so it was decided to look ahead to Saturday 12th December 2026 and therefore keep the Christmas theme running through the evening.

There is no single "cure" for cancer because it is over 200 different diseases, but many cancers are curable today through surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies. While not all cancers are curable, advances in molecular research and treatment have doubled survival rates in the last 40 years.
Cancer Research UK fund scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner. They also provide cancer information to the public. Every step they make towards beating cancer relies on every pound donated. Within the organisation a number of bodies work together to ensure that they make the best use of the funds they receive and continue to carry out world-class research.

Please do support this event to assist Cancer Research UK in beating cancer. It will be an evening of music and laughter with proceeds going to a very important cause.

Support act will be The Laurel Canyon Appreciation Society, based in Thanet, Kent. The band formed in 2025 with the aim to reproduce music from the legendary artists who lived in the Laurel Canyon, USA during the 1960's and 1970's. They are a band of excellent musicians who skillfully recreate the sounds of the golden years of music from the canyon.

Host for the evening is Paul Tingey. Paul is a natural-born crowd‑warmer with a heart for charity, a knack for comedy, and a surprising passion for Health & Safety — yes, really. From raising funds and spirits at community events to delivering punchlines on stage, he’s spent years proving that laughter and kindness make the best double act. These days, he brings that same energy to the thrilling world of Health & Safety, where he somehow makes risk assessments sound almost… exciting. Whether he’s hosting, entertaining, or keeping everyone in one piece, Paul’s mission is simple: make people smile and make sure they leave with all their fingers.
