THE GOOD TIMES ARE BACK AGAIN EP AVAILABLE FROM 4TH AUGUST 2026

It's going to rock and it's designed to make you get up and dance. The Good Times Are Back Again 5-track EP will be available on CD and all major social media platforms from Tuesday 4th August 2026.
Recorded at Magpie Studios in Kent by Charles Creese the EP contains 3 songs that were a staple part of the band's early repertoire but have now been rearranged with a modern production, a song that has remained on the back burner for a few years and a brand new song. The single, The Good Times Are Back Again, has already been released and sets the tone for the rest of the EP.

1.   The Good Times Are Back Again

A blistering introduction and first verse that never relaxes throughout the song. A respite of sorts is evidenced within the bridge before the song lifts off again with a raucous guitar break before the highs of the final chorus. Rooted in 1950's rock and roll but with a lyric depicting 1973 the modern production gives it a current vibe. And check out the live video! On the basis of what is heard here the good times are indeed back again.

2I Won’t Need No Rockin’ Tonight

The 4-bar guitar intro sets the scene for a trip back into the world of country rock and a dose of rockabilly with a song that could have originated on the streets of Memphis, TN.

3.  Waste My Time

A rock and roll song that grabs your attention from the opening seconds. The song expresses the vibes of the classic period of the rock and roll era but with a modern production that captivates the listener from start to finish.

4.  I’m Not Staying Lonesome Anymore

Straying into country rock territory this song contains all the hallmarks of the famous Bakersfield, CA sound of the 1960’s. Stripped back but busy with jangly guitar along with organ holding it together, a catchy melody propels the lyrics and is fundamental in telling the story of sadness, loneliness and hope.

5.  Back To You

An aggressive drum intro sets the tone for a song that despite having a rock and roll backbone crosses over ever so slightly into blues territory. An unpredictable arrangement is a constant throughout and a pulsating guitar and then piano break complete a classic song.
All 5 tracks feature keyboards by Liam Gisby making his recording debut with the band and bringing some fresh energy and vitality to the songs.

Copies of the EP will be available on CD format from the 'store' page of this website and at the band's forthcoming shows.
