The Wrong Turn micro-pub out in the countryside at Barfrestone near Dover has closed it's doors for the final time on Sunday 12th June 2022. It was the venue over the past few years for several appearances by the Crows but the one show that stands out is a New Years Eve performance on 31st December 2017. At the ticketed-only event the band were informed that the evening had sold all available tickets - the only time the Crows have managed to do that !
At the New Years Eve event space was at a premium so Craig was 'built' into his drum set-up which resulted in him having to stay locked in for several hours. A steady supply of cider and then champagne ensured that he could not remember very much at all of what he played on the night but his timekeeping was still very precise as always !
The New Years Eve show was a resounding success and the band had to dig deep into their repertoire to keep the party rocking !
