Jackson Bell Duo to lend support at Christmas EP Launch Show

Steve Bell and Trudi Jackson pictured performing in Ramsgate will be in Dover on 1st December - 'Music Like You Mean It'

The Jackson Bell Due have been confirmed as support act for The Old Country Crow's Christmas EP Launch Show on Friday 1st December 2017 at the Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club in Dover.

Steve Bell, who resides in Deal, discovered Donovan songs in the 5th form and hasn't looked back ever since. With bashed-up guitars, he would get his pocket money and go to folk nights in the local pubs and learn new songs - in those days there was no Google and if you were lucky you could beg someone to write down the words on the back of an old fag packet. Moving swiftly forward : in 2016, he was singing and playing for a charity boot sale in Sandwich, Kent. One of the stall-holders - Trudi Jackson - got up and sang a song or two and hopefully she likewise has not looked back since.

Trudi Jackson first lived and performed in and around the London area before relocating to Ramsgate, Kent. She is also a professional actress and has been seen on tv in various dramas and adverts.

Trudi and Steve offer an eclectic repertoire of cover songs but also have in their library several original compositions for which Trudi can offer 'Shore,' 'Familiar Face' and 'Donald Trump' whilst Steve can field 'The Past Is Another Country,' 'Esmeralda' and 'The Other Side.'

The duo have been performing together for 12 months now and their polished, witty and beguiling act is something that is not to be missed. Steve is a good friend of the Crows having stood in with the band on electric stick bass on several occasions.

Showtime is 8pm with Free Entry.
