Invisible Highway Lighthouse Launch Show hits the right notes...
The Crows celebrated the release of Invisible Highway with a launch show at The Lighthouse Music & Arts Pub, Walmer, Deal, Kent on Friday 17th May 2024. The venue was buzzing on a hot evening with a large audience attending including family and friends of the band plus many new acquaintances were made on a successful night and a very good time was enjoyed by all.
Singer/songwriter Tom Cole from Hastings, East Sussex provided support on the evening playing a set of songs from his latest album, Stops on the Way to Here and from his previous EP, The Road Less Travelled. Tom played a wonderful, relaxing set and his songs contain thought-provoking lyrics that hold the attention of the audience while Tom delivers them in a calm, relaxed manner. We thank Tom for his excellent performance and it would be great to work with him again in the near future.

When the Crows took to the stage they were joined by Bryan Orwell on keyboards and Steve Moreham on violin as the band recreated the songs live precisely as they were recorded in the studio with Bryan and Steve. It is a very rare event when this happens and it was a pleasure to have Bryan and Steve onboard for the evening and their musical ability and contribution made the evening even more special. Dave Kirk, who played pedal steel guitar on 3 tracks on Invisible Highway was unable to participate on the evening and his presence was greatly missed.
The set list contained 13 songs from Invisible Highway plus some favourites from earlier albums and EP's. For the first-ever time the band threw a surprise by playing a version of the 1965 classic, Mr Tambourine Man which was warmly received.
