SONDER AND TARTAR FRIGATE SHOWS ROCK TO THE NEW CROWS' SONGS

It was hot and it was sticky but the Crows played two enjoyable shows at Broadstairs Folk Week 2026. First up on Wednesday 12th August 2026 was the popular venue of Sonder for an early show commencing at midday. Sonder is situated just a little way from the main promenade in the quaint but extremely busy town of Broadstairs. During folk week the town is absolutely buzzing and the venues are very well supported and there was a very good crowd supporting the band at Sonder. There were some kind comments by audience members following the band's performance which were very much appreciated.

On the evening of the following day the band headed down to The Tartar Frigate situated in Harbour Street, Broadstairs. This is a very popular music venue and it did not disappoint. A great audience was in attendance throughout the show and was looking to throw some shapes at the earliest opportunity. The opportunity arrived when the band played the songs from their latest The Good Times Are Back Again EP. The songs on the EP have a rock and roll backbone blended with country, folk and rock influences. The audience responded to the songs and the evening reached a lively climax with an encore requested. The Crows duly responded with their old rock and roll favourite, Help Me Man.
A live version of I Won't Need No Rockin' Tonight from the new EP is available to view below: -
The band would like to thank both Sonder and The Tartar Frigate for their hospitality and to the organisers of Broadstairs Folk Week for booking the band to play at this great event. And, most importatntly to the audiences at both venues for their great support and kind comments. It means a lot to the band to hear postive words and to know that the songs and performances are appreciated.
