As the long dark days of winter head our way following the past months of desolation the end of this pandemic still seems far away with no light visible at the end of the tunnel. Of course there are people and businesses suffering immensely from all of this and many people have been knocked sideways with the turmoil of it all. Those wonderful days of beer and food festivals under the blazing sun, dancing with the sheep at Brogdale and driving through the New Forest to the Somerley Beer & Music Festival all seem so far away now. However, we must remain positive and hope that we can all get through this in good health and nail the virus as soon as possible.
As for any news from Crowsville the reports are that all is quiet on the south-eastern front. Heads down and quietly working towards resumption of performing as soon as possible in 2021 is the deal on the table.
In the meantime for those of you who have not acquired the new album, Behind The Rain, released in March of this year then please obtain your copy from the 'Crow Store' page of this website. Our launch show, other shows and events and several radio show appearances were all wiped out because of lockdown and the Crows were desperately looking forward to getting 'out there' and performing the new songs for their audience. The album has received positive reviews and the band is proud of the 14 original songs contained on the recording.
Also, do not forget to check out the video of That's All I Know released to accompany the release of the album. Filmed at the quirky Dancing Dog Saloon in Bobbing near Sittingbourne and produced and directed by the energetic Kevin Thorpe of Big Jam Studios the video can be viewed at the 'Music Videos' page on this website.
The Old Country Crows Another Christmas Song EP
