Weather holds fine for early Sunday afternoon performance
The Old Country Crows returned to Leas Bandstand, Folkestone for the third consecutive year with a midday - 2pm performance on Sunday 3rd August 2025. In contrast to 2024 when the weather broke badly causing the show to be abandoned this time conditions held fine and the band were able to play a 26-song show to a very appreciative audience.
The summer bandstand programme is run by a team of volunteers and in particular John Barber and Doug Quinney should be commended for their fine efforts to ensure a fantastic line-up of entertainment for the community.
The band would also like to thank sound engineer Dougal Quinney for setting up the band on the day.
