The Old Country Crows are extremely pleased to announce that they will be releasing their first single on Monday 1st April 2024. The song is entitled Walls Come Down and is a country-rock driven number complete with the band's trademark thick, round country-style lick that only a Fender Telecaster can produce and one that furnished previous songs like Dreamland and My Head is Alright. Playing keyboards on the track is Bryan Orwell. Bryan has played on the two previous albums and the Listen To Me EP. The song will be available on all major streaming platforms.
A new video will also be released on 1st April to accompany the release of Walls Come Down.
This will be followed by the release of the band's third album entitled Invisible Highway on Wednesday 8th May 2024. The album will contain 14 new songs including the single, Walls Come Down. Apart from Bryan on keyboards the album features Steve Moreham on violin and Dave Kirk - taking us to Nashville - on pedal steel guitar. Steve played on the band's Behind The Rain album and Listen To Me EP.
This will be the band's first new material since the Listen To Me EP from 2021.
The songs were recorded in October 2023 at Century Audio near Ramsgate, Kent and much input has been undertaken through the winter months and is still ongoing to prepare the songs for release.
The new album will be available in cd format and across all major streaming platforms.
A launch show for the album release will be staged at The Lighthouse, Walmer, Deal, Kent commencing at 8pm on Friday 17th May 2024.
