Crows head to Rochester, Dover and Rochester...

The Old Country Crows have been working hard in the rehearsal room over the past weeks and are looking forward to playing live again over a busy weekend from 29th April - 1st May 2023. They start with a performance from 1 - 2pm on the Castle Gardens Stage at Rochester Sweeps Festival on Saturday 29th April and then head to Dover to the Priory Hotel for a 7 - 9pm show on Sunday 30th April. Then it is a return to the Sweeps on Monday 1st May for a 1.15 - 2.15pm show at the new Eastgate Quarter Stage. The band have played several times at Rochester Sweeps Festival and it is always an honour to return there. The appearance at the Priory Hotel, Dover will be the second time the band have played this venue which is a serious musical venue in Dover, hosting many top local and some top named acts over recent years.

Interestingly, the first show at the Castle Gardens Stage has coincided with the unavailability of the band's drummer, Craig, so Brandon Virtue will take over the drum stool which he managed to do successfully at Canterbury Food and Drink Festival in 2019. A young crow alongside some old crows !

Brandon is currently playing with a new rock band, Arkansas, and they are just starting out on the local circuit.

The band have been working on some different songs in recent months. They are looking forward to playing some further tracks from their two albums and two EP's, an original song that has not been recorded and a further selection of classic covers to which the band like to add their own sprinkling of magic.

We look forward to meeting friends old and new in Rochester and Dover. See y'all on the road !!
