The Crows picked up where they left off in Rochester with a strong performance at a blustery Chatham Food and Drink Festival on Thursday 2nd June 2022. The event was the first day of a four-day celebration for Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee to celebrate her 70 years on the throne and marked the band's return to the event for the first time since 2019.
The set list ran as follows: -
MY HEAD IS ALRIGHT
LISTEN TO ME
HAND OF FATE
FLORIDA SUN
THAT’S ALL I KNOW
THE RIGHT SIDE
(I’LL GET ALONG JUST FINE) WITHOUT YOU
NOT SO LONG AGO
OUT IN THE SUN
DREAMLAND
CALL ME THE BREEZE (J.J.Cale cover)
The band played 8 songs from their last 2 releases - Behind The Rain LP and Listen To Me EP from the 11 songs in the set. It feels like a long time since the band were in a position to promote and play the new material and it has been greatly enjoyed and received by the band and audience alike.
The Crows now look forward to Sandwich Folk and Ale Festival at the end of the month with an appearance at the Fleur De Lis Hotel in Sandwich, Kent on Monday 27th June at 9pm. Hope to see y'all there !
