The Another Christmas Song 5-track Christmas EP by The Old Country Crows was launched with a bang at the Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club in Dover on Friday 1st December 2017. The night commenced with an introduction by compere Adam Morrison-Jones followed by the Jackson Bell Duo playing an excellent set of a mixture of cover and original songs. Adam once again took to the stage with a round of quickfire gags and an impromptu sing-a-long before introducing the Crows as The Old County Crows - excellent ! The Crows played an entertaining set including the 5 new songs from the EP, some old favourites and some of their newer songs. Steve Bell joined them for a few songs and Steve Moreham played violin on 'Another Christmas Song' and stayed onstage for several more songs culminating in a rousing show indeed. The singing chorus of The Squawking Crows joined the musicians for 'Get a Vest On' and returned to the stage for an unscheduled version of the folk classic 'Wagon Wheel' to round off the evening. Not forgetting a young Brandon Virtue for some very good 'sleighing of the bells' on Carrying Christmas in Your Hands.'
A very good evening was had by one and all.

Sound engineer on the evening was Trevor Varndell of AV Studios, Sandwich, Kent. Trev currently operates a rehearsal room business in Sandwich.
A donation was made on the evening to Dover SmART Project. This registered charity was founded in 2013 to provide opportunities for disadvantaged children, mainly Young Carers, living in Dover to take part in a wide range of creative activities and experiences to boost their confidence, enhance their wellbeing, raise their aspirations and widen their outlook on the world.

The following year, for Christmas 2018 the band released an accompanying video for the lead track on the EP, Another Christmas Song. Filmed and produced by Anton French of AF Film the video featured Steve Moreham on violin and was recorded in OS Studios, Dover, Kent.
The song and video is dedicated to family and friends no longer with us but still with us all in our Christmases of years gone by.
