Countrystock at The Anchor at Wingham
FOUR COUNTRY BANDS TO PLAY COUNTRYSTOCK FESTIVAL ON SUNDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER 2026

The Crows are looking forward to returning to The Anchor at Wingham, near Canterbury, Kent to be part of Countrystock, a festival organised for original bands with a country rock thread underpinning them. The Crows last played at the venue in June 2023 so they are hoping to play a great show on their return. The Anchor at Wingham is hosted by Kevin and Michelle Abbott. They took over the venue in August 2012 and have since then gained a considerable reputation for hosting live music and artists of the highest calibre.
Kevin explains his reasons for creating Countrystock as follows - "I’ve been a Country Fan for many years and I love the story telling and great hook lines and great voices that come with the genre.
We’re giving exposure to some great original acts! Ones that write their own material (Remember That !!! ??)
We’re not against Covers Acts or Line Dancing or Sparkly Stetsons but we do sometimes think that people need to stop and remember where Country Music came from. So come on down and see four great acts doing their own stuff. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed."
