Happy first birthday week to Behind The Rain which was released on 17th March 2020
The Crows' second album was released 6 days before the first pandemic lockdown on 23rd March 2020. Unlike the producers of the new James Bond movie who decided to withhold the release date it was far too late for the band to put on the brakes. Therefore, scheduled shows and promotional radio appearances were wiped out along with the album launch show slated for 4th April at the New Inn in Sandwich which was shaping up to be an exciting event.
The band did manage an appearance with Doug Welch at BBC Radio Kent Folk before lockdown
The album was a follow up to the band's self-titled debut release in 2013 and consists of the following tracks : -
1. That’s All I Know
2. My Head Is Alright
3. Ripple Creek
4. Hand Of Fate
5. Not So Long Ago
6. When The Morning Comes
7. Dust Of The Alamo
8. Florida Sun
9. The Right Side
10. Heat Of The Sun
11. The Last Train
12. Till I See You Again
13. Beer And Stuffing
14. Behind The Rain
Recorded with Ollie Seager at the Dover Studio and mixed and mastered by Kevin Thorpe of Big Jam Studios in Sittingbourne the band have not been able to play the songs live since the release but are very much looking forward to rectifying that issue in the coming months.
Pick up Behind The Rain from the 'Crow Store' page on this website or the album can be heard and obtained from Spotify and all the usual suspects.
We'll meet again when the sun comes up ... for some beer and stuffing ...
