A successful night at Rock the Pink Ribbon!
More than £2500 was raised for Breast Cancer Now at a night of music and fun for Rock the Pink Ribbon staged at the historical St. Marys Art Centre in Sandwich, Kent. The Crows opened the event with a 6:30pm start and played through a 10-song set list.
Chris supported the event by changing into a wicked pink shirt as the Crows kick-started the evening and received a very warm reception from the audience. This was a debut performance for the band at St. Marys Art Centre and what an excellent venue it is. There was also an opportunty for the band to play the title song from their forthcoming EP release in preparation for a live video performance of the number the following morning at a studio in Folkestone.

Congratulations must go to the main organiser, Gill Walshe, for her time and effort and for putting together a successful fundraiser. There were also performances from local bands BandAge and After Dark. Sound engineer Pete Lefevre worked hard to provide sound for the bands and Roger the DJ played his part playing vinyl records between acts. Gill had a hard-working team around her, running the bar and ensuring the evening ran smoothly.
Finally, a big thank-you to the audience for buying the tickets and coming out on a damp and windy evening to support a very good cause.
