Best live concert attended : Pink Floyd on the Momentary Lapse of Reason tour at Wembley Stadium in 1988.

Equipment used : Fender Telecasters (One telecaster tuned to open G used for slide guitar) 1980s Dean Markley DCM80 guitar amp, Ovation 12 string acoustic guitar, plus mandolin, ukulele, banjo and various harmonicas.

Past bands and musical ventures : Big Stick in the 1990’s along with Crow sideman Gary Virtue.

Played the part of Bjorn in a Kent based Abba tribute band from 2000 – 2002

What made you join the Crow wagon : I enjoy the versatility and challenge of playing various instruments and adding vocals to original material. Particularly enjoyed the recording of the debut album in 2013 The Old Country Crows recorded by the late Bernie Torme

Your visions, ambitions and expectations for The Old Country Crows : I would like to see the band perform at more festivals outside of Kent.

The Crow song you wake up in the middle of the night singing : All the songs we are due to play at the next show so as I don’t forget my lines and parts!

Favourite crow moment: 2017 Playing at The Somerley Festival, Ringwood in the New Forest. Fantastic venue well attended and great weather. Second best was July 2019 at the Sandwich Folk & Ale Festival at The New Inn Sandwich. We really rocked that night

Worst crow moment: Being electrocuted at The Tenterden Folk Festival playing in the marquee. I approached the mic to sign my first line on the first song and wow, what a belt I got !!

Any other business: Looking forward to the launch of our second album, Behind The Rain. I am really pleased how this album has come out and it will be good playing the new material at this year’s gigs, However, we will not leave out the old favourites !!
